1. Overview

BirthdayInvites.app ("the Service") is an AI-powered birthday invitation generator operated by BirthdayInvites.app ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Service Description

The Service allows you to create personalized birthday invitations using artificial intelligence. You describe your desired theme, our AI generates a base design, and we personalize each invitation with individual guest names. Completed invitations are available for download as PNG image files.

3. Accounts and Access

You may use the Service as a guest or create an account with an email and password. Guest accounts are created automatically and provide full access to the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Pricing and Payments

The Service uses a credit-based pricing model. You purchase invitation packs (10, 25, or 50 invitations) before generating personalized invitations. All payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy, Inc., who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and are subject to change.

6. Intellectual Property

Designs generated by the Service are created using AI models. You receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the generated invitations for personal, non-commercial purposes (i.e., inviting guests to your birthday party). You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the generated designs.

Content you provide (party descriptions, guest names, uploaded images) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of generating your invitations.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to generate content that is offensive, harmful, or inappropriate
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service beyond normal usage

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. AI-generated designs may vary in quality and style. We do not guarantee that generated content will meet your specific expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
